Dr. Michael Zaccagnino is a distinguished medical professional renowned for his expertise in anesthesiology, chronic interventional pain medicine, addiction medicine, and medical marijuana prescription. His illustrious medical training began at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he laid the groundwork for his exceptional medical career.
Having completed his medical doctorate in his home state of Nevada at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Zaccagnino pursued specialized training at Harvard Medical School's Brigham and Women's Hospital in the field of anesthesiology. His pursuit of excellence led him to the globally esteemed Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, where he further specialized in chronic interventional pain medicine, gaining invaluable insights into managing complex pain conditions.
Dr. Zaccagnino further pursued training in addiction medicine within Boston's underserved community, and focuses on implementing medication-assisted treatments with suboxone and methadone. Additionally, he holds a medical marijuana prescriber licensure in the state of MA, empowering him to utilize alternative therapies to alleviate pain and improve patient outcomes.
As a respected faculty member at Harvard Medical School's Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Dr. Zaccagnino played a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge and skills of aspiring doctors, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive patient care.
Currently serving as the Chief of Pain and Addiction Medicine at a Massachusetts state public hospital, Dr. Zaccagnino leads with dedication, striving to enhance patient care and advance healthcare practices. Furthermore, he serves as the assistant director of the Ambulatory Care Clinic, overseeing all outpatient operations, showcasing his multifaceted leadership and administrative capabilities in healthcare management.

Leigh Frechette, a cornerstone of my team. We met in Las Vegas during our internships back in 2010. Our professional paths intertwined as we advanced side by side at a leading outpatient physical therapy practice. Leigh, a foundational member of my home health contract business, embraced the world of full-time home health during her first pregnancy. Today, her journey comes full circle as her daughter, Abby, now 11 y/o observes and learns about the power of career aspirations, the art of leadership, and the importance of connection. Abby represents the future we strive to inspire-Radiating positivity and a living testament to the impact of generational influence on women, community, and relationships.
